All soft & hard floorings require comprehensive protocol and preparation before any product even touches the concrete slab.
Professionals should acclimate the products to correct room temperature, probe slabs for RH/PH levels, log results, remove old adhesives/underlayments, grind/sand, prime the slab, fill substrates with proper featheredge or leveling compounds. and inspect BEFORE installation.
